I think I've started a running addiction. I totally want to run the Disneyland 1/2 marathon, but I know the Disneyland and Tinkerbell for next year are out due to wanting to have a kid in the next year. I told my dad I wanted to run the 5K at Disneyland and he was like "but won't you be pregnant?" Umm yeah! But my goal is to stay in shape this time! I want to be one of those people who pop out a kid and are back to working out the next day (okay next week). I realize that's not reality, but that's the kind of shape I want to be in.
So here's my race goals for this year knowing I'll be having a kid in winter 2012/2013.
January 29 - Tinker Bell 1/2 Marathon
February 19 - IMS 1/2 Marathon? 5K?? I'm leaning toward 5K b/c I want to take a Pure Barre class the day before.
April - Tillman Run
September - Disneyland Family 5K??
October - Susan G. Komen 5K Breast Cancer Run
Wish there was more intermediate distances - 6-10 milers in there. Guess I need to find some different races...
